Ive seen quite a few posts lately with confusion over what cards are being referred to because of abbreviations. The problem with acronyms is they present a double barrier to understanding.
Barrier 1: I don't know the names of all the cards. Ah ha! There is a link to an awesome site with all the cards, and I can search it! Barrier 2: I know all (most) of the cards, but now I don't know what cards you are talking about. WTF?!??!
My modest proposals: Idea 1: We stop using acronyms altogether, perhaps in favour of abbreviations. e.g. Instead of PI for papal influence, you just say papal. That way if someone doesn't know what you are talking about, they can go to the card database, search papal, and get it. Idea 2: we use some very common abbreviations, but not a lot. E.g. PYP is not likely to be confused with another card. But SE sucks. Is it sudden exhaustion or scientific espionage...?
Thoughts?

I raised this elsewhere too. Seconded. what's SE? Sudden exhaustion? Scientific espionage? Shadow era? Lazy writing makes me lazy read. Which is to skip.

I agree with this. I used it cause it seemed like the culture, but it is dumb

You could start with the card name, then switch to an acronym later in the post, if you need to refer to the same card many times.
