Agree Tuism. Still if we haven't heard from developers any fundamental changes to cards should not be accepted as intentional. Otherwise, the point of reporting bugs vanishes.

just wanted to mention here that the same situation also occurs for counters against piri reis. his effect of turning surprises into regular speed memories activates the moment he leaves your hand for play, so he cannot be countered by suleiman or any counter for that matter.

Hm, are you sure? Just today I countered a piri Reis with a preemptive strike, I'm pretty sure of it cos I managed to botch up another counter cos I failed to notice a piri Reis that was on the table already earlier in the same game. So I killed the one and managed to counter the next one coming onto the table.

Are you sure there wasn't another piri on the table? I play him a lot and he does get countered occasionally.

Could you please elaborate on that? How is he countered? By what card? If sometimes he is, and somethimes he is not countered, then it is not WAI.

He might have been countered by guard duty, which erases the card. I still think we need dev confirmation on this one, can we change it to not not bug and specifically about countering Silvio?

I play counter with Piri in my deck and this definitely isn't true. I've countered Piri many times (to keep from losing) and have had my own countered many times as well.

Just want to add that he can be countered by guard duty which says ERASE target. This can be the same reason as Under Arrest now says erase target and can remove silvio. This change of text is new in patch. So I think it may be intentional, but let's see what they say

I used to play a lot of Silvio before the expansion and it was one of the few cards that could get rid of him.

Just discover this change today, and quit twice cos I thought that I'm playing against bug abuse. Although I dislike this change, if it is not a bug I'll not quit, and will change all of my Court Order to Guard Duty.

Silvio being uncounterable is a bug, to be fixed in a later update. Guard duty will still be able to erase him.

I can confirm that Silvio is un-counterable with: Court Order, Mentor's Wake, and Suleiman.
Oddly, Silvio can be taken out by Sudden Exhaustion -> Tactical Upheaval, which I seem to recall didn't work before (after my attempts to counter him failed, I had to try something - was going to lose anyway and wanted to see if this combo suddenly worked).
