This deck is Prett strong, I think, but not as good as the same concept in other colours. And it's based on my favorite card of all time, pending pandemic. It works really well, it's just a shame it doesn't synergise as well with the new concepts but it's still quite strong. Income etc 1 teddy v (grab him if you ned more income) 5 Sofia's office (insanely good income) 5 ancient map (45 card deck, 40 with Sofia's office. Hells yeah) 5 by order of the king (income, Suleiman and a bit of toolbox) 4 forced inheritance counters 2 scientific espionage (just in case) 5 preemptive strike (now we kinda have a 35 card deck) Come into play dudes 5 Oreos, i mean Suleiman 5 ottoman janissary (this deck has slight site weakness, this covers it somewhat) 4 topkapi palace Contingency 4 mentor's return 3 pending pandemic Win/defence toolbox 1 Manuel palaiologos 1 Cesare Borgia build income, counter and kill, win with the stuff left over on the board cos you have lots of those. If things get out of hand, bounce everything, and do it again. There's lots you can do with pandemic that can be super surprising, too Inputs? It's a very raw deck cos its kinda tossed together from a previous concept

Just remove the By Order Of The King and the "toolbox". It's useless with a good draw power in a 40 cards deck. It will give you 8 cards to add something else for your income and for your win.

Good point, let me see what I can pull to go anti holy day. That card defines this new meta, I don't think many people see that yet.

If you play 11-cost-cards I don't see how you can counter it... Faux pas maybe.

Actually that's not such a big problem, holy day, that is. This deck only has mentor to chuck, it's not as big a problem as the incite revolt decks

ive seen a cool combo deck, that used all the cheap 1for1 cantrips, and then made spells surprises, and played san gimnano the +2 influence card and giving him deceptiv in one blow to leave my eyeys wide open.

Maybe I missing something there but isn't In-depth Analysis a way better than Mentor's return unless you have discard mechanics to feed it to?

With sofia field studies is an even cheaper option

I feel that mentor is better cos by the time I have spare gold to be needing hand-filling, I probably have 10+ income and gold. This deck doesn't really "sneak" or "rush" its card draw past the opponent's defense, so I prefer it like that. Plus having 11cost cards and not relying on them to me is a good anti to classic discard

Go go Topkapi Palace! One of my favorite cards, as you saw.

And if you have very good income base, why not go for at least 1 daring experiment. As for 'discard protection', well, holy days are played quite often these days . And income wise I'd also trade 2 janissays for Venezias. They go with pandemic just as good. + You have Suleiman under the 'Counters' and preemptive strike under 'Come into play dudes' in your list. Perhaps they should be switched =).

I'd rather have the gambit of 4 cards than losing out against the likes of mysterious strangers. It's personal I guess

Right. And I'm gonna try this deck of yours soon. So far it was theoretical speculation =).
