I was recently playing an opponent who played silvio barbarigo, as soon as he launched it I activated Untimely end, to my great surprise it did not go to the archive. I proceeded to double click the card to check if I was missing some something or maybe ubisoft added to his ability like they did with a few other cards, the card read "safe: the next damage or neutralization is prevented" so at that point I decided to play Guard duty and to an even greater surprise it did not erase silvio barbarigo. I know for a %100 this is a glitch, because no memory's effect is active until launched, and if silvio barbarigo was launched the animus wouldn't have allowed me to play both those surprise cards. Please look into this and confirm.

We know that the previous ruling was that card effects don't come into effect till launched, however it seems that there might have been a change as Silvio is now consistently not counterable.
Whether this is a bug or a new ruling we're waiting for the devs to say.
I know guard duty DOES work against silvio though, it just happened to me.

Tuism. I don't think they did change the rules on this because if they did then you should not be able to counter launching nobles when the harbor is in play. But you can counter them

Well, that can be explained with nobles are only nobles when they hit the table. Silvio "always has safe". But regardless, I'm not saying it IS one way or another, we simply should wait and see what devs say

Don't nobles always have noble? They get official when they hit the table is what you mean? But yep, it'll be interesting to see the fixes and tweaks in the next update

I think is a bug, and maybe a big one, cause makes a memory impossible to counter in any way. Remember that an Agent is not in game until he finish is launching. You cant make your agent safe with a boost or get the bonus from other agents (like +1/+1) until he is launched...

But we just have to wait and see what the developers say.
