Had a frustrating game where the opponent was using this card to sacrificing my agents and lands to dig an agent from his archive.

Is this a bug? It says:

Pay 2: discard and agent. Choos and agent from the archive. Put it into your hand.

How can it be possible that my opponent was sacrificing my agents? Should not not be his own? If this is possible then how is it possible that he can sac my lands as well?

Hi and welcome lingmeister I checked the bugs list and didn't see anything. So I looked in the Card discussion area and I found this acreedrecollection.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=cardid&action=display&thread=1571

It may have been the other player was using a combo on you

We discard Maria Thorpe with the Abbazia triggering her second effect on you. It's one of the strongest new combos of the game.

I faced the same situations 2-3 times too and had no idea what happened. I checked the archive and nothing was there so I didn't even know what he/she discarded but all my agents & sites were killed. That explains the very high price for the card with combo like this.

I've been reported a cheater when using this combo. It's not the most "visible" combo in the game, that needs to be changed.
