Doomsday was played against me when I had Mentor's Return in my hand. When it was discarded I hadn't received 2 cards. May be they were discarded with all other cards. It seems to be a bug to me. One more thing - Doomsday was played as surprise. I don't know whether it's important or not.

Ok I got no idea if this should be hapenning or not. I faced the same situation once and assumed it was WAI, but maybe it is not.

I can confirm this as well in v 2.16. Not sure if it is a bug. But...
As the mentors return states that you draw 2 memories when it gets discarded I assume these two memories are drawn after it gets discarded, not before...
So in my opinion I don't think doomsday should discard the two memories you draw when the MR is discarded.
Let's see what the devs have to say about this.

I just had this happen to me a couple nights ago and also thought that it was weird that the two extra cards were discarded as well.
Given that you don't get the cards from a discarded Mentor's Return until after Mentor's Return is discarded, it seems like you should at least have those two cards after Doomsday resolves, otherwise we have:
1) Doomsday Resolves -> Everything Gets Discarded
2) You get two cards for Mentor's Return being discarded
3) Doomsday resolves again?
