I was in game against KingDavid and I had Constantinople Gallata district down. He still countered every card with preemptive strike. He countered my Altair learned three times before I quit for him cheating.

Did this only happen with Altair, Learned?
It may have something to do with Altair, Learned not really getting neutralized but just returning to hand.

There was no papal bull. Or fishing village, I assumed I missed an instant somewhere, and my card still had the text so it was unaffected. There was nothing in the discard other then a PP and his premptove strikes. I was using 3 Altair learned cards , so it's possible the bug was for that, but everything othe board was two Constantinoples, one Darim, and my repeated attempts to get Altair, Learned down.

Weird. Only guard duty should work when Constantinople Galata district is down (which sucks IMO).

I was playing a person named Ivan, he was able to counter any card I played when I had two Constantinoples down, and it was standard counters not ones that erase cards. This makes the card worthless.

Hmm. It works fine when I play it. Haven't noticed this. If it happens again let us know. I will keep an eye open if it happens to me.

It happened against the same Altair learned deck. It must be just with that card. Which is ridiculous because the card wording shouldn't make it not work with Constantinople.

Ok. This makes sense. The bug may be with Altair then.

I'm also playing it a lot atm... Haven't encountered your bug yet, but I 'll keep an eye out for it!

Thanks. If it helps, I generally have one to two Constantinoples out, and an attempting Altair Learned. Sometimes there are other cards out from both sides, but generally that's what's out.

I can confirm this just happened again with another non erase discard, where my Altair learned was neutralized.

I can confirm this one as well (played an Untimely End on Altaïr with Constantinople in play - he was returned to your hand).
It must be a bug as Altaïr states that it is returned to your hand when it is neutralized and Constantinople keeps Altaïr from getting neutralized in the first place.
It looks like card effects are handled the wrong way round... updating the status to confirmed.
