So somebody just called me out on GameCenter with a taunting message. We face each other regularly but this is the first time I got a friend request from him after a disconnect but the request has a negative vibe to it. He basically said, "What, you scared of losing so you're running away?". He was going to win and I was going to let him (I wasn't going to disconnect a split second before he gets the final point) but we got a disconnect anyway.
My question is, do you still accept the friend request?

Maybe he was being sarcastic? Especially if you play him all the time.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I'm not sure if it's a friendly jest or an outright taunt. I read before in here that some players (non-forum members) were doing the same to forum members. They sent a friend request but they sent a message that can only be interpreted one way - the bad way. Anybody else had this happen to them? Did you accept?

Someone else had a similar experience. The opponent had written a friend request with Spanish curses (or something). It was definitely not to be friends but a workaround to get a message through. Just ignore it unless he comes with a proper invite - and you really want to be friends with this guy. P.s. hope it wasn't me in my sleep.

What was the dudes name, maybe he is on forums. He's not part of this forum. I checked the members page before posting this.

P.s. hope it wasn't me in my sleep. Definitely not you, I'd like to think people in this forum are above such things.

I guess you just met a regular Internet duche bag. They get off by being bad mannered and by stroking their e-penis.
You are right. People on this forum are more motivated by sharing and discussing. Don't see them as doing that.

Hahaha - ok here's a quick update and an end to this thread.
I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt last night and accepted his friend request thinking he was just being sarcastic. Well, I just checked my GameCenter friends list and he un-friended me - he's no longer in my list.
So it was a taunt after all.. I guess I'll no longer use my fun and concept decks next time we play. ;D

Lol douche bags exists in all forms, and everywhere. Just ignore them. Shadow era has in game chat and sometimes when I am on 'alternate' account, I had nasty things said to me by respectable and 'famous' forum users. I had a good laugh. I am pretty sure they won't say those things if they knew who was piloting the account.
