Can we please get iPhone 3G support? I know it works on the iPad and would love to play when I have a good cell signal and no wifi connection.

I could've gotten animus credits from the recent Facebook contest if that support existed, but on the other hand... I'd probably get less work done at work if it did.

It was trialled and found too unstable - as in too many people tried playing when they had weak signal with their phones on the bus/train, car etc. the iPad was found to be used in a method that was less "mobile" as in people tended to play from a desk, stationary etc. this resulted in the split we see today, so it's unlikely mobiles will be supported since they were already tried and deemed unfit based on user consumption of the device.

That sucks. I can see the logic in that and I would be mad to play a stuttering game all the time. But is there anyway they could build a signal strength or speed checker into the app so that doesn't happen and we could still play over 3G. With the new disconnect timer not restarting that would also solve bad connection problems.

Don't know. Wouldn't hold my breath for it.
