So with many ppl having problems to build decks, that can win against more competitive deck, and tend to auto-include cards without a real reason why, I thought we have a community thread, where we develop a deck all together. I will try to moderate, so we reach a good deck. If the result is good, this thread might stay intresting for newer players to see what steps you have to take to reach a good deck. there need to be enough contributers, for that it works. First off, I want to exclude "Order" completly from the deck. Order decks with Cesare/court order/Forced inheritance, allmost work by themself at the moment, we have enough examples of them, so I do not want to push the deck in the same direction. I hope everyone is ok with that. Now first tell me what colour cmbination we should, use and wich 2-3 cards will win us the game: For Example: Hardcore Aggro Purple/Green (Political Patronage/Nicolo Machiavelli/Ezio) I include my own start here: Aggro with Pushing sites (Thieves Guild, Art Gallery, Political Patronage, Nicolo, Ezio) We decide later what we shall pick and start with. Hope we get something out of here.

Cool, so is it a site deck or an agent deck - or both? Art gallery seems to dictate that it has to be agents. But to concentrate on both at the same time might be sacrificing any defense at all? I'd like to suggest we exclude reliant combos like Political Patronage as it becomes a draw deck - great if you get it, dead if you don't. And easily shut down with a Sudden Exhaustion or Faux Pas... What do you think?

I just set an example, put your own thinking into it, and we choose later wich one we shall take. I just put the rough idea into it, so ppl know what I think how I can win games. *Im pretty sure that there might be a problem with thieves guild and not having the card flow to cast assassin agents * So, jsut include what you want as a winner, andd we decide later what we actually take.

Yep I agree, so that's why I was raising those items to discuss Thieves guild I generally don't consider very reliable - marginally more than Art gallery, as you can drop one and start pumping agents into it to convert to points. Pure media/crime site rush?

So we're up building Crime/Media deck? It's a combinaison with no counters to Royal Intervention at all, it means that it can only be called competitive if we win early/mid game.
I like the idea of a flow of thieves helped by the two sites.
Do we want to rush blindly? Or have a few solutions?

I don't like to give opponents free wins against me if they play the right kind of deck (Pan/RI in this case). The combo goes off super fast if you can't counter at least 1 RI. I think it's impossible to win against it by pure rush. Counter 1 though and you slow the deck down considerably, plus he has to fear his own Pantheon.

It would be nice if you could try and include Fabio Orsini, I have never seen this card been used by anyone yet, all other agents receive -1/-1. Although this might be because it's a terrible card, and in which case please ignore me

Ok so lets try a Green/Crime deck. Since Purple/Green wed land at brontobeuf's superstrong nicolo deck anyway, and there is no real good green/black deck out there if everyone agrees. Of course it won't be as rushy as Media.
So now we should focus on the Win conditions, green/black offer: -Lanz -Ezio/Da Vinci -Thieves Guild -Femme Fatale -Workshop

Or we could stay on Crime/Media and think about how to counter Ri/Panth. Brillant bruglary for instance may be a good thing to help the rush. Just throwing ideas.

Well you could make the deck fast enough. And use brilliant Burglary if your enemy is just saving for the desperate moment

I tried to build a Crime/Scholar rush with Thives Guild. - you don't have enough rooms for agents, ressources boosts, sites and surprises. - your ressource boosts options are bad if you don't go Lanz (slow ones, or dangerous ones...). - without the Guild, it's a loss, and with it, it's not a guaranteed win. I'm not sure I would advise us to go this way.

What happened to this thread? On the same Crime/Scholar thing - I was thinking All-Assassin Ezio deck with thieves and the guild. Nope didn't really work. Can't use Lanz.

first I have seen of this thread. I would like to go for something thats totally unconventional, stay away from order and crime, go for faith and scholar, something that hasnt really been explored in the past. there must be a deck there with the pope/leonardo floating as a win?

Leonardo is just generally good. If you get him out without being countered. Rodrigo is a bit of a meh... Hes not bad, but people would rather play Cesare or ezio or Leo. And that's half the colours gone Faith is very powerful at the moment with the discard. Albeit it can make boring games
