To duplicate: - Have Selim in play - duplicate a noble without surprise - play 0 cost noble
I would expect it to resolve as a surprise, but alas it does not.

So you would have to duplicate your opponent's Selim right? Because you wouldn't be able to copy your own.
I think this one's related to the bug when you steal cards they no longer become modified by the surprise ability - like if you steal opponents' agents and play them while your Ezio Mentor is out.

I'm not following why I could not duplicate my noble. I have a screen shot I can post when I get home which will add clarity (or if you try the fun with Ahmet deck I posted earlier, you will definitely see what I mean. )
Selim: your nobles have surprise. Auxiliary Ego: put a copy of non virtual agent in your hand. Its cost is 0.
So if I have Selim in play on my side and copy another noble I have in play, I would expect that copy to play as a surprise.
I think the fact it's copied is somehow affecting the test if it's a noble.

No, matavious means have Selim in play, then play another noble. That noble would have surprise. But when you use Auxiliary Ego or Copycat on that noble, the 0-cost card wouldn't have surprise when you play it even though it's already a noble. I noticed that in my Catrina deck but just never reported it.
I confirm this bug.
EDIT: Didn't see matavious' response when I posted this.

Also seems that only nobles droped after selim can use their ability as surprise(such as viscardi). If you play a noble before selim, it won't have surprise.

I can't reproduce the bug in version 2.16. I.e. all nobles played after Selim have surprise (including the copied ones), so it appears to have been fixed.
Updating the status...
