Ok, I accept this is a really late post. Income cards got nerfed a while ago now.
But ever since then, games have just felt boring.
When the game fist came out it played at a relaxed strategic pace. With the new cards things got really frantic, there were strategies I couldn't even use because they were too timing intensive. It made for some desperate fun gaming.
Now... I've tried getting into it. But I haven't managed more than 6 games in a day since the slowdown. I just get bored by the slow gameplay.
I'm pretty sure it not that I've played the game to death. I may have brute forced my way on to the old high score, but there's still heaps of strategies I've never tried. I was really looking forward to trying them when I finally got all the cards.
This was my all time favourite game on my iPad. Its sad to see it so sickly now.

I enjoy the new pace. But once you get the income cards right, it is not that much slower as when you just tried the new patch.

I mostly blame the nerf to the Tutor cards for the slow speed. Before you just put them in to build your income and to get and play your winners. Now that they don’t provide income there not automatically included in every deck.
I have noticed now that there are ton more strategies they weren’t viable before and nothing seems overpowered. But I am still struggling with it because I got so used to how they game worked before and it almost feels like a completely different game now.

If they just put the game on permanent 1.5x speed, I'd be happy.

If they just put the game on permanent 1.5x speed, I'd be happy. (Also, 12 Guests? You people should join.) I like that idea. I think put the competitive at 1.5 speed and keep the casual the same. Then it might also force people to be in the casual vs. mode to test new decks. It's almost empty right now, and I don't always want to be in competitive mode. I also noticed that it seems like a lot of new people playing the past couple of days. Maybe this game is making a comeback. If the guests aren't just forum users who aren't logged in, yeah they should join. Its great having more people participate here.
