Ok, I've been a lurker for a while, I've seen many of you in various battles. I was experimenting with a crime deck when I stumbled on an interesting combo: Gaspar de la Croix, Forum of the Ox, and Ezio Auditore, mentor. You need one additional site to pull it off, I recommend the Assassin Guild. Once Ezio and Gaspar are in play, you play the Forum, which resolves instantly and you get all your income. You then play the other site on the same region, returning the forum to your hand from Gaspar. Everything resolves instantly, you continually refresh your income, and if your second site is the assassin's guild, you quickly remove all agents. It's pretty easy to get influence in all three sites up to 50+ in a single day. Here's what my sequence currently looks like:
5 ancient map 1 daring experiment 5 nothing ventured, nothing gained 5 Sofia's office 4 knowledge is power 2 forced charity 3 quick study 3 bitter sweet 4 Gaspar de la Croix 3 scholar's den 5 assassin's guild 1 scientific espionage 5 forum of the Ox 4 Ezio, mentor
Slow income is an issue, therefore rushes can be hard to beat. Thoughts?

The Gaspar/Ezio mentor combo is finally catching up. It is a great combo. It is only better with forum of the Ox for infinite income.
Here are my tricks to making this better.
Use Kadir. Like 3 of them. The draw power is UM A Zzzing. Especially when Gaspar and Ezio is out. You will draw your entire deck. Also works well early game with Sofia's office. If your hand is bad you have 2-3 draw chances by simply replacing your Sofia's office when he is down.
Use secret catacombs. You can steal all opponents sites. This is the anti site card you need. Kill agents with assassins den. Steal sites with secret catacomb and almost nothing can stop you.
Consider using lighthouse. You can score immediately with this and win very fast with Gaspar and Ezio. Also a great defensive card.
That's the best pro tips I have for this type of deck. Have been playing it since revelations came out, but only now is it starting to pick up.

Anyway, good build - you might need to find a way to target Piri though. I know Assassin's Guild (AG) can take out Agents but if he has more than one Agent, it might take a while to neutralize Piri. I will probably take out Bitter Sweet and NVNG in favor of other cards. Like Luri mentioned, add Kadir; and increase Forced Charity if you have them.

Good deck idea. Now, I'm not a fan of the build. I don't like 1 SciEsp... I don't like 3 Quick Study, 1 Daring, etc. If you play Scholar/Crime, you have so many better options to cycle through your deck to bring the combo on the field.

I'm having great fun playing this combo. It's fragile, but oh so fun when it fires. Games have great tension to see if I can last long enough to pull it off. Ptlee had a great come from behind in a game today that was fantastic to watch (glad to see you join the forums).
Income / draw 5x Ancient Map 5x Knowledge is Power 5x Sofia's Office 5x Forced Charity 5x Pilfered Supplies 5x Militia Intimidation
Combo time 5x Gaspar de la Croix 5x Assassin's Guild 5x Forum of the Ox 5x Ezio Audiotore, Mentor
Removed cards
5x Quick Study combo tutor
5x Lighthouse delay rush + direct score win
5x Kadir draw
5x Ottoman Gunman with Sofia Office for early threat delay site rush Removed cards all have solid qualities going for them, but I'm enjoying this build. Half of the cards in the deck replace themselves and only rarely do I find myself without the combo.
Discard makes this deck cry of course, but it's rare in my timezone's meta.

It's really slow with the cards that I have - I'm close to a play set, but secret catacombs is the only memory that I don't have at least one copy of, and I only have two forced charities. (86 left for a play set!) I'm having much better luck with my masyaf sequence, so I am probably going to put this away until I get the forced charities I need.
I stumbled on the combo when testing a thief discard sequence against the computer where he brought Gaspar into play
