with this weeks update to the rearmed game came a lotto type meta game that allowed you to submit 1 ticket per 24 hours with the chance of winning currency or diamonds within the game.
I thought the idea could migrate to the recollections game quite easily.
every day you select 5 numbers and if they come up on the lottery you win X animus credits with different amounts won dependant on how many numbers you match.
Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Sounds interesting and might be one more thing to have for making the game fun.

I doubt anyone would say no to this feature, and the only way Ubi would implement something like this is if they had a way to let a whole lot of people know (like 6000 players) that some people won some points on a continual basis. And that's building something else into the game or something. I wouldn't even bother with numbers, I'd just pick some random player. Why do I need to put in some random numbers to make me feel special?

i guess the same reason that the real life lottery's make you pick numbers- you have to be in it to win it and it also gives you a sense of choice, you pick random numbers every day or stick to the same ones day in day out waiting for them to come up?

I just think that they'd get a more effective result giving away the same amount of swag if they made it automatically available to more people... Thinking from a business perspective, cos after all that's what it is. And if I didn't have to enter the lotto and the game informed me that I won some credits, I'm going to go tell my buddies. More likely than people who're already "in the know" who are playing the lotto to win it - their buddies already know about it. Sorry, habit of work

I dont see it as a marketing tool, more a reward scheme for those who already play, however just because you have the app doesnt mean you automatically get added to some list.
The lottery aspect would also allow more people to win, if the numbers 12345 came up, anyone who had selected any of those numbers would win credits, not just a set amount of players who own the game. Likewise if one person has all 5 numbers they would win the jackpot, but if two people had all 5 numbers the jackpot is shared, your methodology wouldnt allow for that sort of scenario, you either win or lose, no multiple levels of a win

Players wouldn't see it as a marketing tool, of course. But for Ubi to do something it has to make sense to them - it's MONEY that gets these systems built. So rather than asking for things arbitrarily, it makes much more sense to ask for things, give them a reason and the sense to do it, then it'll get done. Or else we just sound like spoilt kids asking for more candy when already have chocolate

I wonder what their reasoning was to implement it into their rearmed game then? Just figured the same reasoning could be applied here as well

Oh? I haven't played it so I can't really say, but I'm guessing that it somehow got more people playing, or they promoted the fact via some channel - in game or not. Well if that's the case lets ask for our candy cos that other kids already got it
