Altaem posted this deck on the TA forums on the basis of helping to lower the tone for newer players that you encounter. I like the idea of having a gimped deck to have closer games for the newer player or for those players that have decided not to spend money on IAP's I would rather play to their level than rape them time and time again, likewise I would rather those who rape me to come down to my level instead of raping me time and time again lol here it is if you want to join in Templar Common Noble Site Rush: 5 x Teodor Viscardi 5 x Horse Merchant 5 x Gruesome Gallows 5 x City Stables 5 x Seeking Sanctuary 5 x Untimely End 5 x Beautiful Heiress 5 x Donato Mancini 5 x Papal Influence 5 x Militia Barracks Note: I havnt played this yet, nor even figured out how to play it except I guess dump out theo's first, then heiress or mancini and use heiress to boost them, sites for some extra rush? pass, give it a try and see whats what

Depending on the draw here, I don't see anything wrong with stalling with the horse merchant. It seems to me like it can buy you some time to draw out your Donato's and BH's. Mid to end game the only thing I really use Teddy for, is his ability when I can afford 8g other wise he's just cannon fodder to buy more time.

I think this deck is not focused enough and hence too slow.
If you want to go for a fast blue official agent rush do not include the horse merchant, but the 2/1 official blue agent instead. Borgia tower is also a must have! The idea is that you out-score your opponent as he can't block your officials, not that you put up the defenses...

I think it is a common only deck, so Borgia Tower is out. However I also would switch in Arquebusier (the 2/1).

Hmm.. True.
I think the original post is incorrect. Altaem was fond of all common decks.

Looks like I switched out the Horse merchants for the humble pikeman soon after posting.
How to Use: Don't be fooled by the heiress, this isn't a noble deck. She's bait as much as anything else.
Use your weak sites and Donato to reach 5 in 2 regions. Finish with Papal Influence and/or Militia Barracks.
On reflection I'm wondering what Seeking Sanctuary is doing there. For a deck I've likely won 50 games with, I sure didn't bother to refine it.
Time to brush off the cobwebs and take it for a spin.

2 games played. Lost to discard due to 2 x Militia Barracks lost. Won against site rush despite my 5 agents being nuked.
I was wrong about the heiress, that small bonus on Donato makes all the difference.
Experiment cut short, unable to log into Uplay.
