Ok I just want to get confirmation on his ability, and to check it is working properly.
It's the first time I have played him , I knew he was bugged before the update but..
- I played him at /18/ he was a 5/5 and he sayed like that even after I reached 20 gold
- I played him again at around /24/ he procced when my gold reached 20 .
Is this the correct behaviour? I expected him to proc when I reached /20/ no matter what stage he was played. If this is the correct behaviour , then he is lame , and please make some changes to him. I know he is not losing fierce in the next update, but I think he is still to weak compared to the other 10 costs.

I'm not sure if this has been suggested before but , how about his ability becomes
Pay 10 Lorenzo gets +5/+5 (suprise) single use only ofc

It's not very well documented, but there is a difference between the "have" and the "gets" abilities. Lorenzo "gets" his bonus, so it only triggers once when he resolves. So if when he resolves you have 20+ gold, he becomes 10/10.
I suggested somewhere before to change his ability to a free trigger ability, like:
0 cost surprise: if you have 20 or more income, Lorenzo becomes 10/10.

Yep, as he is, calling all standins is better. For 2 extra gold , you get the 10/10 at 12 gold, same abilities. And with clothes make the man in your deck aswell, it just makes Lorenzo even less attractive.
I guess with 'calling all stand ins' there , that kind of makes up for Lorenzo's weakness to the other 10 cost agents , but if calling all stand in's is being altered, ( I don't think it's being nerfed ) then Lorenzo needs to have a change.
Ie with the proposed change , a calling all stand in token @ 12 income will be a 6/6

Giving him a surprise capacity is a trick that would make him rest during half a day. When I play Lorenzo, I want to win, not to wait. The wording has just to be improved. The mecanic is ok imo.

I'm guessing, Bronto, you wanna have it as a "have" constant effect and not a "get" action? Well I'm ok with that, he's like an il carnifice that has an option to be boss fodder, then. I know he'd rest half a day, but would you rather that than the current? I think Lorenzo was intended as it is now, not as a mini il carnifice

As he is at the moment though , would you play him?
I mean compared against his counterparts, he is pretty poor.
Do you think he needs to be changed or are you saying he is ok as he is?
I like the the idea behind his ability but I only tested him today and I had to bittersweet my own calling all stand ins token , so that I could see if Lorenzo procced?
To me it made sense that if you reach 20 income, then he gained 5/5 , that way I can play him earlier as a 5/5 equal to another 10 cost agent , but when I hit 20 resources , he turned into a 10/10 , this would put pressure on the opponent and he would be stronger.
I was suprised , as you actually need to play him at 20 income for him to proc, there's better options then, unless I'm missing something

Well I guess as he is now, if you draw him at 10 income, you get a 5/5. If the game got longer and you drew him at 20+, you'll get the benefit. That means you can stick 5 in your deck without worrying drawing him early or late game. But really, he's pretty lame

Hey, did anyone notice this...
10 gold with Lorenzo gets you 5/5 with fierce... 10 gold with calling all stand ins get you 10/10 with fierce... 20 gold (albeit 10 spent only) with Lorenzo gets you 10/10 with fierce... 20 gold with calling all stand ins...
Ai... At least there's some flexibility with calling all stand ins, right?
I wonder who will play Lorenzo...

I don't own Calling All Stand Ins, but according to the balance notes it now creates an X/X agent with Fierce where X is half the gold lost. So spending 10 gold gives you the same thing for both, unless your income is 20, in which case Lorenzo gives you a 10/10 for 10 instead of a 10/10 for 20.

From the update thread: :-*Curious to see how they've rebalanced things. Changes noted: Added useful icons to card backs where appropriate (assassin/templar, color icon for card type) Looks like all the proposed changes are there. [edit by tuism]Here are all the balance changes to the cards as outlined by Marc (dev team):..... Calling All Stand-Ins 0, - When you launch this Memory, lose all your Gold. Put a X/X virtual Militant with FIERCE in your HQ, if there is an empty slot. X is half the Gold lost. So if you have 20 income Lorenzo is a much better deal (spend 10 instead of 20), and if you have less than 20 income spending 10 on Lorenzo gives the exact same deal as 10 on Calling All Stand-Ins. Of course the latter is more flexible since you could for example spend 16 when at 16 income to get an 8/8 with Fierce.

There's also strategic considerations with regard to agent vs action -> (militant) virtual agent. The former is vulnerable to untimely end, the latter is vulnerable to Scientific Espionage and anything that bounces cards to your hand (virtual agents just die). Of course, the action benefits from Clothes Make the Man and the virtual agent benefits from militant boosts.
