... how about this... Forced Entry 3C, surprise, target launching memory cannot be neutralised as long as it is still launching. For 3 more you can buy insurance on anything you play against counters or scientific espionage

heh the problem isn't countering.
the problem is their cost doesn't scale to the spell they are targeting.
being able to counter a 10 cost spell with a 3 cost/ 4 cost is awesome sauce!
they just worry about having enough income to cast the counter spell. after that it's all good cos counters give them the income reactively when they deal with threats!

Well yeah, but that's not really fair to say, most removal cards are to cost to scale. Divine intervention is godly in that regard. I think it has to be looked at in context, counters Re very powerful because it doesn't have target restrictions: actions, sites or agents, it doesn't matter in the eyes of a counter. Most other removal can become dead cards against the wrong deck. But yeah ramping up income with counters will be no more soon due to the update

Whether or not this card is OP depends on the availability of instant win combos. Since they are changing the main combo cards, this card is probably okay, although it might be safer to publish more specific cards that cant be countered. Or restrict this more, such as "target launching agent can't be countered"
