Jools sorry to hear you're so fed up with it, I wonder if it has anything to do with local servers or switches or something, cos I've been having pretty decent experiences these days, I get to my 500 points a day quota pretty much in an hour or so of playing (not nearly all wins too 
), and my match wait times are typically under 30 seconds (actual waiting time not what the thing says).
So... Maybe - and I'm not saying ACR is faultless - just maybe you can have a look at your connection, just in case that has anything to do with it.
I am still very hopeful for a few fixes and network upgrades. The recent server migration seems to have made things a tad better, but theyre still slightly below par, in my mind.
