Crazygambit what did you study? I'm a graphic designer who passed high school maths at 49% with a stolen paper you lost me at binomial (which I first thought was binominal) I do agree with you though

We take a course in Statistics, then Inference (where you look at this stuff) and then Econometrics. I remembered the gist of it, but I hadn't touched the stuff in years, so a bit of googling was needed (fortunately if you've seen the stuff, you know what to look for).

About the original post , maybe merge ringel's 0.99 post too? I did already put that in as part of earning animus points. It's linked - It's fairly long so I won't merge it into this guide which is supposed to be short.

The $10 starting investment is very nice advice. I just checked how many credits I spent, it is around that mark. I can comfortably play several decks, including some that have no blue in them. I can't really compete with the top decks but once in a while I can pull off a win against one.
Experience is invaluable though.

So far I spent all my money on Assassins Boosters. I find the assassins cards are more valuable in my deck. I figured by spending the money on assassins boosters, I can build a stronger deck to win more "vs" games and get templar boosters with the credits I earn with that.
I read some of the strategies on here, and although they are pretty cool, I think you have to put a lot of money in the game just to get the right cards to be able to build those decks (hurry up auction house!). I would really first like to see if this game will exist for a longer time, before I spend a lot more money on it. At the moment I limit myself to a few bucks a week...

My suggestion. Do 1 x $49.99 instead of many small purchase. You'll get a lot of 'free' credits when buying in bulk.

Actually have you done the maths?
Based on my UK pricing :-
500 = 0.69p 1050 = £1.49 2750 = £2.99 11500 = £13.99 30000 = £34.99
So for example 2750 x 4 = 11000 so you are paying £2 for the extra 500
Or 2750 x 11 = 30250 and £2.99 x 11 = £32.89 so you get more animus for less cash there too.
I've been just buying a few 2750 packs at a time once in a while as its the best value.
Is it different in the US?

You're right Baracus, In Pounds it is better to buy the 2750 packs. Here in Holland Raphael is right. I should buy the 30000 packs, which are best value for the money. Last night I've been playing quite a few games and I only faced good constructed decks which made my mediocre deck useless. I'm very tempted now to buy a big bulk and do some proper deck construction. How addicting this is... 8)

IMO, my advice: be careful on how you spend. I.e. do not bear too much hope.
Sometimes lady luck does not smile on me and despite spending $49.99 ALL on Assassin Packs, I get all the crap/extra rares that I do not need.
You probably do not want to bear too much hope that $49.99 can help you, with regards to Assassin rares.
I am not sure what your situation is like. But if I have $49.99, I would spend as much as I can to get 5 Cesare, 5 Dante. That would bring me pretty far. (I am also sure, if you can get 5 Cesare, you would also have 5 Court Orders, since it's an uncommon)
With the following Order Templar cards:
5 Forced Inherit 5 Court Orders 5 Cesare 5 Dante 5 Order of the king
You can build a decent deck that will do well on PvP, by combining with Green/Purple/Red/Crime.
For example,
Blue/Red - Counter/Discard deck or Counter/Sites deck Blue/Purple - Borgia Tower/Art Gallery deck Blue/Green - Counter/Draw deck Blue/Crime - Counter/Dante-protect-Lanz or Cesare deck
IF, A BIG IF, I have left over credits after getting 5 Dante/5 Cesare, I can spend them on some assassin packs, just to try my luck.
Just my 2 cents. May not be the best way.

In the U.S. the 30,000 is the best value too. However I will probably stop at the $20 mark, at least until the auction house installed.

I typically buy the 2750 set, maybe a couple in one sitting and burn them all on Templar solely forthe cesare, lanz, pope cards but I have also spent a chunk on assassins cards which didn't really pan out for me (never did get pantheon)

Lol was that a "pan" pun? I'm not having great luck with assassin boosters. Don't have enough wraths, discoveries, la volpe, patronage, etc etc etc. got a few deck ideas I can't test out Generally I think if you have a decent card pool now, stick with it. I don't think even $50 will get you what you are short... The odds are just against your favor. We all need the auction house right now.

Hi all, just found this site after playing the game for a couple of weeks. Can anyone post a list of what the special abilities (like SAFE or FIERCE) mean? I am a bit unsure as to which are important factors to look for in agents when building a deck. Thanks.
