Inspired by Altaem's posts, I've tried for a purely templar common deck.
Core Cards: Sites: [orange]City Stables[/orange] 5 [green]Prestigious College[/green] 5 [orange]Coastal Watchtower[/orange] 5
Agents: [green]Engineer Warrior[/green] 5
Actions: [green]Field Study[/green] 5 [red]Papal Influence[/red] 5 [red]Seeking Sanctuary[/red] 5
That's 35 core cards. The rest I've moved in and out of the deck:
Sites [red]Venetian Church[/red] 2 (15 sites isn't enough, but common sites become poor. Market street or Venetian Church)
Agents [red]Pious Captain[/red] 3 (There are a lot of choices. I've tried the big guys, but they seem too slow)
Actions [red]Bitter Repentance[/red] 5 [green]Bitter Sweet[/green] 3 (all bitterness) [orange]Mob Justice[/orange] 2
I just played the latest version and was able to keep about 50%-- 6 wins/ 5 losses (+2 extra wins not included because my opponent disconnected before play started. Ironically one was Altaem).
The greatest part was, I'm pretty sure I never matched the same opponent twice.

But... I only posted here for the first time 30 minutes ago.
Good to know my ranting over on Touch Arcade had some positive impact. Sorry I bailed on our match, chances are I recognised you and chose my own Templar Common deck only to suffer dud starting hands.
My own TC deck won far more than 50%, largely due to the number of new players it encountered.

I always admired your ranting-- much better than the average ranting. Red green isn't the best choice for Templar common, but you already covered Blue/Green and Blue/Red, so I thought I'd try something different.
