"Highlander" refers to a style of magic play called Elder Dragon Highlander (or now Commander). The rule is "there can be only one" of any card. I'm going to use this thread to record the evolution of a highlander deck. I've already played it a couple of times, but here is the second version:

It has an excellent record, all things considered. I see a lot of potential in other color combinations and I recommend giving it a try.

Just kidding, it looks like a lot of fun, I think the green/blue combo is the most stable one out of all the others - the others are more combo driven and relies on key cards while green's draw vs blue's variety in solid offense and defence makes a good combo

This deck is really fun. It plays unpredictably so keeps you on your toes, but wins fairly frequently.

Plus imagining the look on the face of the Pick Your Poison players is priceless.
