So I think I am getting the hang of this aspect of the game. For example, it seems to appear that a militant can survive a block on a noble with the same health even though it doesn't have a threat booster.
But a little while ago I had a Noble Beautiful Heiress (2,2) get knocked out by a (2,1) Engineer. Their Engineer survived. I didn't see any other boosters in their played cards or in their hand that should have affected this.
I guess my question is, what agent types require what health to defeat other agent types of equal health and what margin does a weaker agent need to overcome this advantage?
Sometimes, it feels sort of random. I couldn't find anything about it. Am I missing an FAQ that explains this?

The agent vs agent thing is quite simple - the two numbers are power/health. Both agents will in a conflict simultaneously deal damage in power and receive opposition's attack in power.
So a 2/2 vs a 2/1 means that both dies. A 2/2 vs a 1/2 means that the 2/2 lives but becomes a 2/1. A 2/2 vs a 1/1 means that the 2/2 lives and becomes a 2/1.
So the power never changes as the result of the conflict, but the health is reduced permanently by the power of the opposin agent.
Hope that's clear!

The Hieiress and Engineer will normally destroy each other. Was the Engineer made Safe? Militants shouldn't have any special ability to survive Nobles.
Watch out for Dante Moro, who can make allies safe.

Tuism,
Thaaat makes a lot more sense. I have been under the impression that it was simply health vs. health. But what you're saying is that, to think of a more obvious one, in a 3/7 vs. 6/4, both will survive since the 3 power of the first is less than the 4 health of the second and vice versa? But a 6/2 will kill a 1/5 by virtue of its greater power even though its health is lower.
I think I get it. Thanks!

Ringel,
No. I use the hell out of Dante myself. And grateful for the safe marker, I am!
But after Tuism explained that I was mistaken to think that the health was the attack power, it's entirely possible that he got a +2 or something at the last second that the heiress knocked down to his original health and I missed it.
What blows me away is that I somehow crept into the top 100 without ever figuring this out. Shame on me!
