Almost any deck I play will win most games-- I have better cards and more experience than average players.
So far my Highlander deck is 6 and 1, and I know very well it isn't a good deck.
So how do you decide if your deck qualifies as competitive?

If I am able to complete the main part of my strategy near every game.

Even my best decks sometimes fall to what seemingly like a random rabble of half decent cards.
What makes a deck competitive? I'd like to say consistency, which is both in execution as well as strategy - a great strategy can be damn inconsistent, and I reckon that makes a poor deck.

Lol! So countless political patronage decks are all not competitive? And discard decks? And Borgia tower rushes? (sure there are counters in there but generally not many) and many many of the most successful decks? Expand your horizons a little Oh wait you might have been sarcastic.
