In some decks you want to skip cards. Like a bounce deck, where your opponent is playing sites only, you need bounce cards that bounce sites. I would like to be able to pick them out, instead of drawing agent bounce cards... The day we can play with sideboards I will agree with you. Until then, I will consider (from now on) Scientific Method.
Agreed, but how I play my current bounce deck is that it has such strong draw and income power that I will more likely than not have the correct solution in my hand, and part of that draw and income power is having knowledge is power over scientific method.
So yeah, if you don't need the income or the draw power, go scientific method - its really better for a combo deck that has other stuff for income.
I play it a lot. I find early game knowledge is power is better, but late game scientific espionage is WAY better. It disrupts the opponents hand, loses them a card, gains you a card, and often late game opponents play 18 res for a 9/9 agent, or doomsday etc. 4 gold to steal that away = instant win.
