[not a bug] programming error with drawing

I am so sick of having a 50 card deck with 10 cards and only getting to play with three of them every game. When I get my first draw of 6 cards, I only get three different cards if I'm lucky, usually I get three copies of two different cards. When I draw during the game, I only get a choice of 5 cards, so very often I will have 3 or 4 copies instead of seven unique cards. It is making the game unplayable. I started putting in the mentores return in so I could draw cards with the hope of being able to use other cards, but very often it will only give me two cards, with three copies of one, and one of another or two and two, this is on top of the fact that I often recieve only copies of cards I already had with no added variety. This has to be fixed.

I haven't noticed anything with the drawing I will try to pay more attention to it.

I did notice some strange draws after the expansion, like i would make a deck with media and never , ever draw a media card in my opening hand. However , i think its just 'luck' tbh. I would imagine theres a very simple core mechanic for card draw, you and i just got unlucky , i may be wrong.

I am willing to admit that it can be luck occasionally, but it isn't luck whet happens every game.

Prior to the expansion, I used to notice that with some decks I would NEVER draw a political patronage in my opening hand and in others I would always draw one in my opening hand. I never ran the numbers but it felt like it was like 90+% one way or the other. Needless to say, I almost never played the deck that couldn't draw a PP. I haven't really seen the same problem since the expansion, though I did have a game yesterday where I started with four out of five Antonios.

I doubt it. Do you know if the randomization is server side or client side?

How could the algorithm be broken for some people but not for others?

Why should they implement anything other than a simple randomizing algorithm (= every card equally likely to be drawn)? I'm not really into game design / programming, but this would be the obvious solution, wouldn't it?

well yea, i cant see any reason to put an imbalanced draw algorithm in there, what would be the point?

This sounds like a case of selective memory. I cannot believe that if you play 10 games with a deck of 5 PPs that you'll never draw one in your opening hand. Now try that with 20 games, 30, and report back the results please.

Yeah, I can't say that I've seen any similar issues.

I play 2-3 different decks, and my opening draws range from: lots of 0-1 cost cards, to; lots of high cost cards, to; a balance of each. After that, my draws during games range from: every draw is exactly what I need, to; I draw nothing useful, to; some draws are great, some suck.

I think Tuism is probably right here - some sort of selective memory or perhaps even confirmation bias.

should be easy to select your draw on a hacked iOS device then if you are 1337.
