Let's talk about The most "Mean, Vile, Ignoble, dirty..." strategy you have seen or used! It's fun to beat other players with this kind of deck, and it is offended to be beat.

Yeah, I have a deck called Angelo's Carnevale, which basically revolves around Castel Sant' Angelo and Carnevale. I wanted to make the combo work as the core of the deck and just couldn't create a competitive deck with it. So I created the type of deck I despise myself. It just basically kills and counters everything until I have the combo in my hand and the opponent has nothing left to play, and then I play everything in one go. There are 5 History Glitches and 4 Animus Reboots besides all kill and counter cards Media and Order have to offer, in it. Most games take way too long and it is boring as hell to play. Most people quit before I actually play the combo, just because how annoying it is (which is funny again)! It's like some of those discard/lock decks I encounter every now and then. You almost can't loose, but you do have to sit and wait... until you have something in your hand that can win you the game. BORING! I have yet to loose with this deck, but I rarely play it anymore. btw, I haven't seen anybody else use Castel Sant' Angelo in a cool way. It is really an awesome card, imho. I have a green/blue deck based around Sant' Angelo and Malfatto. It has some nice tricks, but it just isn't fast enough... yet

Combo decks are fun, but decks with an actual win strategy and synergies (synergies aren't combos) simply work better and more consistently The only strategy I find "despicable" are lagging your opponent intentionally, and the old Pan/RI Everything else is permitted, Nothing is true

Forgotten temple is also highly frustrating for your opponent when you manage to pull it off

^^That's exactly how I see it. That's why the Malfatto/Sant Angelo deck is a lot more fun to play... Synergies abundance in that deck! Get some agents out to draw cards (Salai, Leo), bounce some stuff (Doctor, Learning Hermeticist), Buff some other agents (Knight Templar) and score at the same time (Castel Sant' Angelo). I need to pick that deck up again and tweak it a bit more! I'm thinking Impending Pandemic now suddenly

For the "5 rares" challenge I've been playing a green draw deck (no relation to Pete's deck) featuring Amerigo. That guy is pretty mean.

Lol you've played him too huh? I don't necessarily think its dirty though maybe just more vile than anything because it's a hard deck to beat.

I haven't been playing that deck much anymore because I'd played it too much and it seemed to annoy people too much. Thanks though for what I'll take as a compliment. I've played it a couple times since they changed the timing on grabbing cards from my opponent's hand and it's trickier - I may play it some more to see if I can snatch cards before they get played. It was a nice but unfair luxury being able to snatch cards AFTER my opponent played them.

I think being able to take cards AFTER the opponent's played it is fine as long as the gold is reimbursed to the opponent. The way it is now is unfair as discard selection is SLOW compared to drag and drop, add to that carousel lag, well... I've expressed myself enough in that other thread about the new discard mechanic.
