Also, for the purposes of assassin's stronghold, what the heck is a "resting site"? Just played a stronghold and killed 2 agents and 2 sites. Wow. That's a very good question. Sites that have triggered abilities can be "resting", but is it counting resting as "waiting for the next day to start"? I still haven't figured out what constitutes a site "resting", even though there is a card that makes Faith sites (and agents) rest twice as slow and I play a lot of faith sites. Somebody please use that card against me so we can figure it out - or tell me which story mission uses faith sites and I'll try to work it out.

Well the two sites I Killed were not resting technically, they were just surprise 2/2 site drops. I'm smelling a bug.

It's funny how many nerf listed in this thread were similar to what they were before just because people start reading the cards again. ^^

Stronghold makes Hippodrome look like child's play now. Not only does it vaporize all of the opponent's sites (unless they are lucky enough to be using one of the like three sites with useful abilities), but it also forces the opponent to immediately attack with all agents to avoid their destruction (presumably into the waiting arms of your agents). Your sites also remain unscathed. I think the destruction of resting agents is good because it forces Piri, Maffeo, Gardener, etc. to come out of hiding, but it's certainly not nerfed. If anything, it remains one of the best cards in the game, just altered in its awesomeness.

Have not downloaded the patch but by reading the posts; it appears that the patch is in the right direction.
Nice work by the devs.
They either have great testers or they really visit here and listen to our complaints/views/suggestions.
By the way, it's not that easy to tweak a tcg. Over-nerf some cards and the meta becomes very boring or cause the 'normal' cards to be too powerful relatively.

It doesn't say "resting sites". Also agents aren't resting if they just sit in your HQ they have had to attacked, played an ability, or are launching.

Just reviewed the changes... I'm going to try playing again, but my instincts are telling me this is an absolute botch of the entire game. I guess I'll see how I feel after a slew of games. I just... I don't know, so many cards are just miserable to play now and NO nerf to Piri? Really?! Remind me to go kick the SolForge guys some more money. Update: I'm done (again.) The expansion took this game down a peg or two, and this patch is just digging the hole deeper and deeper. I don't regret the $$$ I spent, I had fun while it lasted, but I'm getting out. I'm sure I'll see some of you in the SolForge beta! Until then, I hope life treats everyone here well.

I just lost to a piri counter deck, cant believe they didn't alter that card, it was top two with Sulieman.

It's cool, I also still have my old app file backed up from before the update I send you a PM with the instructions for downgrading. I hope that I've helped you. Please follow us in facebook and twitter for more Assassin's Creed information. Web: assassinscreedcenter.wordpress.com/Twitter: @assassinscenter Facebook: www.facebook.com/AssassinsCenterMail: assassinscenter@gmail.com Any further posts about this and I will ban your account, 3rd party downloads of this game can endanger players accounts, and have them stolen. I am uninterested in if you claim to be legitimate or not, but I know it would take about 10 minutes to add a key-logger to the app and capture users passwords. Announcement: Do not use this service, if you value your account. Simple as that. Pete

My reading of "resting agents" are whatever was attacking or using a non-surprise ability at the time of you deploying the stronghold. So I don't see why your opponent needs to attack with all their agents. Agents not doing anything are safe. If I drop a stronghold and you start attacking after, those agents are safe, as when stronghold resolves they should be still attacking, therefore not resting. Killing resting sites we still haven't gotten clear yet, and to me that sounds like a bug that it kills regular, no "cooling down" sites.

I don't get the piri angst, he was a pain, still is, but really in a over counter and surprise filled environment. Now that Suleiman and cistern are more restricted and stronghold and tactical upheaval are no longer surprise, piri is manageable. Counters took a big hit, which is good in my book.

I agree with Tuism and the games I played so far confirm his understanding of "resting agents". Unfortunately I can also confirm Stronghold killing off ordinary sites which is probably not the way it should work.
